NOW HIRING: Evening Shift Nurse
We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Evening Shift Nurse (2:45 pm -11:15 pm) to join our team at Lutheran Care Center.

Responsibilities Include:
▪️Provide direct nursing care to residents
▪️Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
▪️Monitor patient conditions and report changes
▪️Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and support staff
▪️Maintain accurate documentation
▪️ Ensure compliance with regulations
▪️Support residents’ comfort, dignity, and overall well-being

Qualifications:
▪️Current RN or LPN license (state required)
▪️Previous experience in skilled nursing or long-term preferred

As we wrap up Nursing Home Week 2026, we would like to extend our sincere thanks to everyone who helped make this week so memorable for our residents and staff.

A special thank you to our Activity Department for the countless hours of planning and preparation that went into making each day enjoyable and meaningful.

Thank you to the Altamont Garden Club for joining us on Tuesday to share information about the club and spend the afternoon with our residents. Everyone loved creating their own flower bouquets to brighten their rooms.

We would also like to thank the generous donors who made the flower activity possible: Burkland’s, Flowers by Kirby, Creekside Blooms, Walmart in Effingham, Altamont First United Methodist Church, Valena Soltwedel, Megan Shoaf, and Carol Laue. A special thank you to Carol for organizing such a wonderful event and to all the club members who spent time with our residents.

Thank you to Andrew Eats for joining us on Wednesday and serving delicious burgers to our staff and residents. Your food is always a hit, and we truly appreciate your continued support of the Altamont community.

Today, Marty Williamson joined us and put on a wonderful performance for our residents. Live music always brings so much joy, and our residents especially enjoy when Marty comes to perform.

Again, thank you to everyone who helped make Nursing Home Week 2026 such a special and memorable celebration!
