We encourage our families to take their family members who are Veterans to this event so they can be recognized and honored for their service!

Alton FCCLA and FBLA would love to continue our special Veterans Day Slideshow tradition and recognize our local heroes during our Veterans Day Assembly on November 11, 2026, at 1:00 PM in the Alton High School Gymnasium.

We invite community members to submit information and photos of veterans and active-duty military service members, past and present, including those who are no longer with us, to be included in our slideshow.

Please include the following:
-A digital or scanned photograph of the veteran
-Veteran's full name
-Branch of military service
-Living or Memorial

📅 Submission Deadline: Monday, November 2, 2026

📧 New Submissions, Updates, or Corrections: If you would like to submit a veteran's information or need to make updates or corrections to a previous submission, please email [email protected].

If your veteran has been featured in previous years and no changes are needed, you do not need to resubmit their information.

We want to ensure that every veteran is recognized and that all information is accurate and up to date.

We are looking to add to our amazing care and dietary staff! We are currently looking for a weekend med aid/ caregiver and a weekend cook, if interested stop on by and get an application. Facebook does not currently have an online application we can access.

Interested in getting your BLS American Red Cross CPR? We have a couple spaces available in an up coming class at Shepherds View. Class will be Thursday, November 5th from 8am to noon. Cost is $75 and seats are limited. Give us a call to reserve a spot!

🍁 Fall vibes at Jesse’s Jams! 🍁

A few of our Shepherds View residents put their hands and hearts into making these colorful fall pillows! A little creativity, a little conversation, and time spent together made for a cozy afternoon. 🧡
