We are completely overwhelmed with gratitude!

This year’s Baby Bottle Campaign total is $149,304.60 and behind that incredible number are hundreds of churches, families, and individuals who chose to care deeply about the work happening at Precious Life.

God provides. We have seen that truth over and over again, and this campaign is another beautiful reminder of His faithfulness.

To every church that participated, every family that filled a bottle, every person who prayed, gave, encouraged, and helped spread the word - THANK YOU! Your generosity helps Precious Life continue to provide help, hope, practical resources, compassionate care, and life-affirming support to women, men, and families in our community.

We are so grateful for a community that believes this work matters and continues to stand with us.

We are so grateful for our partnership with Altoona Curve Baseball! Don't forget to come on out to this weekend's games and bring some diapers or wipes along with you to receive 1 FREE ticket to the end of 2026 season or start of 2027's season!

Coming up this weekend! We are working with our friends at Precious Life, Inc to collect diapers and wipes for families in need. Bring your items to a Curve game on August 28, 29, or 30 and receive a grandstand voucher for a 2026 or April 2027 home game!

⚾🍼 DIAPERS, WIPES & BASEBALL! 🍼⚾

Our August Diaper & Wipes Drive is continuing—and we’re excited to have a special community partner joining us!

The Altoona Curve will be collecting diapers and wipes during their August 28–30 home games to help Precious Life restock our supply for the families we serve.

And there’s a little something in it for you, too! 🎟️

Bring a package of diapers or wipes to the collection at the ballpark and receive **1 FREE ticket** to either:

⚾ A game during the Final 2026 homestand OR A game during April 2027.

Each month, Precious Life provides 70+ packs of diapers and wipes to local families through our Baby Boutique. Your donation helps us continue meeting this practical need and reminding families that they are supported and cared for.

So, as part of our August Diaper & Wipes Drive, grab an extra package on your next shopping trip and bring it to the Curve!

We’re 10 days into August, and we’ve already been so blessed!💗

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who has donated diapers and wipes to all three of our locations so far this month! Your generosity is helping us keep our Baby Boutique shelves stocked for the families we serve.

We repeatedly hear from our clients how helpful it is to receive diapers and wipes during their visits. For many families, having these everyday essentials provided can help lighten a financial burden and make a real difference.

And we go through quite a bit!

Each month, we provide roughly 70+ packs of diapers and wipes to our clients - that’s about 17 packs every week!

Our hope is to always have enough on hand to continue providing this practical support whenever a family needs it.

👶 Did you know? Newborns can go through 8–12 diapers every day. That's a lot of diapers and a significant expense for many families.

One of the things we hear most often from our Earn While You Learn clients is how much receiving diapers and wipes helps their family. Meeting this practical need eases financial stress and allows parents to focus on caring for their little ones.

Already in 2026, Precious Life has provided over 430 diapers and wipes to clients across Blair, Bedford, and Cambria Counties. We are incredibly grateful for the generosity of our community, whose support makes it possible for us to meet these everyday needs while offering hope and encouragement to the families we serve.

Throughout the month of August, we'll be holding our Diaper & Wipes Drive to help restock our shelves. If you'd like to make a difference, consider donating a package of diapers or baby wipes. Every donation helps us continue caring for local families and reminding them they are not alone.

It has come to our attention that we were recently nominated for the Altoona Mirror Hometown Favorites in the Nonprofit category, and we're truly humbled. To know that someone thought enough of Precious Life to nominate us is an encouragement to our staff, volunteers, and everyone who faithfully supports this ministry.

Every day, we have the privilege of walking alongside women and families by offering practical help, compassionate care, and the hope found in Jesus Christ. This nomination is really a reflection of the many people who make that possible through their prayers, generosity, and service.

If you'd like to support us in the contest, we'd certainly appreciate your vote. But more than anything, we're simply grateful and honored to have been nominated.

To all generations...

I've been thinking a lot about Psalm 100:5 this week:

"For the LORD is good; His steadfast love endures forever, and His faithfulness to all generations."

At Precious Life, we have the privilege of caring for women and families today while investing in future generations. But lasting change doesn't come from us, it comes from the hope, grace, and assurance found in Jesus Christ.

Every conversation, every class, every prayer, and every act of compassion is an opportunity to share the love of Christ. We can love others deeply because His steadfast love never fails. We can offer hope because He is always good. We can remain faithful because He is always faithful.

What a blessing it is to be able to share that hope with others - today and for generations to come.

This morning, my family and I had the opportunity to watch Big Boy roll through Altoona.

On the drive home, I was explaining to my son the rich railroad history of our city and how it helped shape the community we know today. I shared about my grandfather being a conductor for most of his career after his service in WWII. And the many memories of the railroad as a kid.

As I reflected on Altoona's history, I couldn't help but think about what truly makes a community strong—the people. We can celebrate and appreciate the rich history of our city and where we’ve come from, but generation after generation, it's people, families, and the lives we invest in that become a community's greatest legacy.

That's why Precious Life exists. Every day, we have the privilege of walking alongside mothers and families, helping build a stronger future while pointing them to the lasting hope found in Jesus Christ.
