🚑 Ready to make a difference when it matters most?

Modoc Medical Center is now accepting applications for our 2026–27 Emergency Medical Technician (EMT-B) Certification Course!

This accelerated course is designed to prepare students for the real-world demands of emergency medical care through hands-on training in patient assessment, CPR, trauma care, and more. Upon successful completion, students will be prepared to take the National Registry of EMTs exam and take the next step toward a rewarding career in emergency services.

📅 Course begins: November 4, 2026
🗓️ Schedule: Wednesdays & Fridays, 5:30–9:30 PM, plus every other Saturday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM
💰 Tuition: $500, including study materials
💳 Payment plans available
⭐ Current MMC employees may be eligible for tuition assistance
📌 Application deadline: October 16, 2026

Qualified applicants must be at least 18 years old by July 1, 2027.

Whether you're interested in serving your community, pursuing a career in EMS, or building a foundation for a future in healthcare, this is an opportunity to gain the skills and training to be there when your neighbors need you most.

👏🏻 We want to send out a much deserved thank you to the incredible teams who helped make Fandango Days such a success!

🪛 We're especially grateful to our Maintenance Department for setting up and tearing down our booth—it takes a lot of work behind the scenes, and we couldn't do it without you.

🚑 Thank you to our amazing EMS crew for spending the day at our booth, connecting with the community, and, most importantly, being ready to provide first aid whenever it was needed during a hot and busy celebration.

🥳 Lastly, we want to shout out all of our staff who stopped by, lent a hand, and had great conversations with the community!
