I’m sure that my colleagues agree, it’s been pretty interesting practicing medicine in the age of AI. For the most part, it is an unbelievably helpful tool and I love using it to get quick answers through my favorite app- Open Evidence. Hot take above on my thoughts about AI from the patients’ point of view…
In short- I’m all for it, but nothing can truly replace the human experience of a real clinician sitting in front of you, who has years of experience and truly knows your whole medical history.

Quick plug for a healthy low carb granola from scratch- link in comments. This is actually a grain free and no oats- just nuts! I made mine with walnuts, pecans, pumpkin seeds, a smidge of maple syrup, almond butter, vanilla bean paste, cinnamon, salt, unsweetened cocoa powder, coconut flakes, and chia seeds. I had it this morning with my Greek yogurt and some berries - YUM. My husband compared it to those candied nut street carts in NYC 😂
