At MOVE, we believe in movement that nourishes the body as much as it strengthens it.

Hosting master trainer Shannon Horn for a week of GYROKINESIS® training gave both new and experienced trainers the opportunity to deepen their practice, expand their understanding of the method, and reconnect to the joy of movement and learning together.

We may be a little tired, but we are incredibly inspired and excited to share this work with our community.

Classes are Mondays at 4:30 pm and Wednesdays at 12:30 pm. Stay tuned for new apprentice classes coming this summer.

Each 75-minute session includes gentle restorative movement followed by Yoga Nidra — a guided meditation practice known for supporting deep rest and nervous system relaxation.

Fridays at 3pm | starts 5/22 | with Natalie

🩰 Ballet Barre and Stretch is a dance class that combines standing exercises at the barre with stretching at the end of class. We will teach you foundational ballet technique, work on flexibility, posture, balance, and strength. Open to all levels, no prior experience necessary.

🧘‍♀️ Pilates & Stretch is structured with half Mat Pilates and half guided stretching, designed to get you moving while leaving you feeling refreshed and restored. All levels are welcome.

Last week, we had the pleasure of hosting a Women’s Self-Defense Workshop at MOVE led by Len Niehoff. Thank you to our friends from PEO Ann Arbor Chapter G for spending the evening with us learning practical skills, building confidence, and sharing community together. Thank you to Len for creating a safe, supportive, and FUN atmosphere! We had a blast.
💜 Proceeds were donated to in Ann Arbor, and we are eternally grateful for all of the work they do to support our community.

We’re honored to welcome Wendy LeBlanc-Arbuckle to MOVE this June for a one-day workshop as a part of her international book tour.
With over 40 years of experience in the Pilates and movement community, Wendy is a globally recognized educator and founding member of the Pilates Method Alliance.
Her work invites us to move beyond “right and wrong” and into a more intuitive relationship with our bodies.
Join us on June 27, 9am–4pm, for a one-day workshop with Wendy where we will explore an embodied approach to our movement practice. This exploration will show each of us the possibilities for a deeper, more connected presence in the world.
