Dear Nursing Leaders and Colleagues,

A CUT ABOVE: STITCHING EVIDENCE INTO PRACTICE
Save the Date — March 4, 2027!
The University of Michigan Surgical ICU, along with Sigma -Rho Chapter, are excited to announce our 13th annual critical care nursing conference, and this year, we’re taking it to The Big House!

For 13 years, our conference has brought nurses together for education, connection, and professional growth. This year promises to be an experience you won’t want to miss!
While our theme, “A Cut Above: Stitching Evidence Into Practice,” highlights surgical critical care, this conference is designed for nurses across ALL ICU, tele, moderate care, and medical surgical settings — including surgical, medical, cardiovascular, neurological, trauma, pediatric, and other critical care specialties.
Expect a day filled with engaging education, evidence-based practice, meaningful connections, and inspiration you can take directly back to your nursing practice.

Bring Your Team. Build Your Practice. Be A Cut Above.

We encourage groups of nurses, students, educators, and nursing teams to join us for this special event. Discounted group registration rates will be available, providing an excellent opportunity to bring your team together for a day of learning and connection.
And this is just the beginning…

More information will be coming in the weeks ahead, including featured speakers, educational topics, the conference agenda, registration details, and group pricing.
For now, mark your calendar, share the date with your team, and get ready for an unforgettable day of critical care nursing education!

One incredible conference. All ICUs. One BIG House.

Rho Chapter is so proud of Rebecca VanStanton who was nominated and accepted as a Rising Stars of Research and Scholarship Invited Student Poster presenter at the Sigma 37th Research Congress in Toronto.

Rebecca's project examined the impact of a trauma nurse training course in Ghana, with the aim of improving trauma care knowledge for nurses in low- and middle-income countries.

We were thrilled to have Rebecca represent Rho Chapter.
