When was the last time you celebrated yourself?

Not because you reached some milestone. Not because you finally fixed everything. Not because you became a "better" version of yourself.

But simply because you are here.

Alive.
Growing.
Learning.
Experiencing this strange and beautiful human life.

This Saturday at 3 PM, we continue our Wheel of the Year series with one of my favorite holidays: Litha, the Summer Solstice.

The longest day of the year has long been celebrated as a time of abundance, vitality, joy, and honoring the light both around us and within us. It is a reminder to pause and take stock of everything that has grown since the darkness of winter and everything that is currently blooming in our lives.

Together we will:
☀️ Create flower crowns
☀️ Share delicious treats
☀️ Learn about the traditions and magic of the Summer Solstice
☀️ Explore solar magic, abundance, confidence, and personal power
☀️ Gather in the salt cave to reflect on where we are in our journey this year
☀️ Take a guided shamanic journey inspired by the energy of Litha
☀️ And, of course, dance wearing our flower crowns because life is far too short not to.

Your ticket includes all flower crown materials, treats, class materials, and the shamanic journey experience.

If you've been craving community, magic, connection, or simply a reason to celebrate being alive, we'd love to have you join us.

Many of us have forgotten what it feels like to truly slow down.

Not because we’re doing something wrong, but because we’ve adapted to a world that constantly asks us to move faster, produce more, stay connected, and keep pushing through exhaustion.

Over time, the nervous system stops recognizing rest as safe.

Join us for an evening of gentle movement, grounding, breath, and nervous system support designed to help you reconnect with a sense of inner harmony again.

✨ Time for a Pixie Poll ✨

As you know, we always love checking in with our community — both the pixies who visit us often and those of you who have been thinking about coming in for the very first time.

This summer, we really want to create more intentional moments inside the salt cave.

One of our favorite things about the cave is how many different purposes it can serve. It can be a quiet moment alone with yourself, a gathering space for friends and family, or a place to connect with community and remember you’re not doing life alone.

So we’ve been brainstorming some special themed community salt sessions this summer and we want your feedback 🌿

Some ideas we’ve had so far:

✨ Moms Salt Sessions
A space specifically for moms to come rest, breathe, connect, and spend time with other moms — without the kiddos for a little while.

✨ Parent + Kids Playtime Salt Sessions
Now that school is out for summer, we thought it could be really sweet to have intentional playtime sessions where kiddos can meet and play with other kids while parents connect with one another too.

And just to clarify — our regular playtime salt sessions are always available to book whenever you’d like. These would simply be community-style sessions specifically designed for connection and summertime play.

But we’d also love to hear from YOU.

What kinds of community salt sessions would you like to see?

✨ Teen sessions?
✨ Bookish quiet cave nights?
✨ Morning grounding sessions?
✨ LGBTQ+ community sessions?

We are genuinely open to ideas.

And we’d also love to know:
🌙 What days of the week work best for you?
🌙 Morning, afternoon, or evening?
🌙 What would make you feel comfortable enough to come?

Our goal has always been to create a sanctuary that can hold people in all the different seasons of life, and we’d love your help shaping that this summer.

And as always, remember that the salt cave — or even the entire shop — can also be rented privately for your own gatherings, groups, celebrations, or intentional events. Just send us a message for more information 💛

✨ YOU ASKED. WE LISTENED. ✨

Honestly, we should have done this sooner.

I've heard it more than a few times: "Can you please combine Megan's massages and Kait's sensory sessions?"

And after creating some magic together, we have to agree. This might be the most relaxing thing we've ever offered.

Introducing the Head to Toe Reset, a 90-minute experience designed to help your body soften, your mind quiet down, and your nervous system finally take a deep breath.

Your experience begins with a 60-minute Swedish massage with Megan in our salt cave. Then, without ever leaving the table, you'll transition into 30 minutes of pure relaxation.

While Megan treats your feet to an in-house handcrafted sugar scrub and soothing foot treatment, Kait will guide you deeper into rest with gentle scalp-focused sensory care, hair play, calming sensory tools, and nurturing touch designed to help your nervous system unwind.

If you've never experienced a sensory session before, imagine the feeling of someone playing with your hair while you drift somewhere between awake and asleep. It's one of our most requested and beloved services for a reason.

And now we're combining both experiences into one.

💛 60-Minute Swedish Massage
💛 30-Minute Sensory Session
💛 In-House Sugar Foot Scrub
💛 Foot Treatment
💛 A magical 90 minutes in the Salt Cave

This is the service you book when you're exhausted.
When you've been carrying too much.
When your nervous system needs a break.
Or when you simply want to be cared for from head to toe.

Overstimulation is not always obvious.

Sometimes it looks like:
• feeling irrationally irritated by small noises
• wanting everyone to stop talking at once
• difficulty focusing
• emotional shutdown
• tension in the shoulders, jaw, or chest
• feeling exhausted but unable to relax
• snapping at people you care about
• wanting to hide in silence
• crying more easily
• feeling “touched out” or mentally crowded
• scrolling endlessly while somehow feeling worse

And for neurodivergent nervous systems especially, overstimulation can build slowly until the body suddenly feels like it cannot process one more sound, task, notification, conversation, or expectation.

The body was never meant to process constant input without rest. This is why nervous system regulation matters. Not because we should never experience stress, noise, or stimulation — but because our bodies need moments of recovery too.

Sometimes support looks like:
• dimming the lights
• putting your phone down
• sitting in silence for a few minutes
• stepping outside barefoot
• drinking water
• deep breathing
• resting without guilt
• reducing unnecessary sensory input
• allowing yourself accommodations instead of forcing yourself through overwhelm
• spending time in spaces that feel grounding and safe

At The Salted Pixie, many of our offerings are intentionally designed to support overstimulated nervous systems through restorative rest, salt therapy, meditation, gentle movement, calming sensory experiences, and quiet spaces where people can finally exhale for a little while.

Because overstimulation is not weakness.

It’s often a sign that your nervous system has been carrying too much for too long.

Life moves fast.

Between responsibilities, stress, endless notifications, and the constant demands of everyday life, it can feel impossible to find a moment to simply breathe.

Join Anita on June 16th at 6:30 PM for an evening of gentle yoga designed to help you slow down, reconnect with your body, and create a little more space for peace within yourself.

This class is perfect for beginners, experienced yogis, and anyone who could use a softer moment in their week. Through mindful movement, breathwork, and intentional rest, you'll leave feeling more grounded, centered, and supported.

The world feels heavy right now.

Maybe you're feeling overwhelmed. Maybe you're carrying grief, frustration, uncertainty, anger, fear, or simply the exhaustion that comes from trying to exist in a world that never seems to slow down.

This Saturday, we're creating space to set some of that weight down.

Join us for our Community Support Circle, a gentle gathering designed to offer connection, understanding, and a safe place to process whatever is on your heart. There is no pressure to share, no expectation to have the right words, and no need to show up as anything other than yourself.

At The Salted Pixie, we believe healing doesn't only happen in solitude. Sometimes it happens when we look around a room and remember that other people are carrying hard things too.

💛 Come as you are.
💛 Bring your whole self.
💛 Leave knowing you're not alone.

One of the most common things we hear after Sensory Resets is:

“I didn’t realize how badly I needed that.”

Many of us move through the world carrying constant overstimulation, tension, stress, mental noise, and emotional exhaustion without ever truly slowing down long enough to notice how deeply it’s affecting us.

For some people, these sessions are the first time in a long time that their nervous system feels safe enough to fully relax.

Thank you endlessly to everyone who trusts us with their care and softness here at The Salted Pixie. 🌙

Life is heavy right now for a lot of people. And sometimes what we need most is not advice, fixing, or pretending we’re okay. Sometimes we just need a space where we can show up honestly.

A Day in the Life is a community support group designed to create space for conversation, connection, and reminding one another that we are not meant to carry life alone. This is not about having all the answers. It’s about being human together.

Whether you’re navigating stress, overwhelm, grief, burnout, loneliness, transition, or simply feeling emotionally exhausted by the state of the world, you are welcome here.
