AN ACT OF KINDNESS…

A very special artist generously gifted our residents a collection of handmade watercolor greeting cards.

Some residents carefully chose favorites to treasure and display, while others wrote heartfelt notes to loved ones that were mailed out today.

We are deeply grateful 💕

One of the gifts of caring for residents is realizing how much we can learn from them.

During her time with us, this special resident shared her love of gardening. I especially enjoyed our talks about propagating roses and was happy to bring her the very first bloom from my Colette rose this season 💕

The connections we make here matter, and she will be missed. Wishing her all the best on her continued journey 🥰

At Ashland Post Acute, caring for others is at the heart of what we do — and during Skilled Nursing Care Week, we took time to celebrate the incredible team members who make that care possible every day.

From fun themed days and laughter-filled moments to food, friendly competition, and appreciation, it was a joyful week of celebrating the people who care for our residents LIKE FAMILY.

HAPPY MOTHERS DAY to all of the incredible mothers, grandmothers, caregivers, and nurturing hearts who make the world a softer, kinder, place!!!!!💕

Thank you John Jackson, for the very sweet bird presentation on Friday, that brought smiles and a sense of wonder to the room.

To make today even more special, residents enjoyed a lovely Mother’s Day meal accompanied by the beautiful sounds of live harp music drifting through the background.

Days like Mothers Day remind us how meaningful it is to slow down, connect, celebrate one another, and simply enjoy the beauty around us.

In celebration of upcoming Mother’s Day, our Lobby was filled this morning for a morning of classical music, flower arranging, and conversation. 💕 We captured photos of the gorgeous bouquets — and of residents proudly taking pictures of their creations. What a special time! 😁

Some moments just make you stop and smile. ❤️ Today I caught a quiet moment between one of our longtime staff members and a resident — just a simple conversation and genuine connection. These are the moments that remind us what truly matters. Caring for people isn’t just about tasks and routines… it’s about relationships, compassion, kindness, and making someone feel seen and valued. We notice these moments and appreciate them deeply.

Happy Earth Day from our newly official GARDEN CLUB!!! 😎💕☀️
Today our residents enjoyed getting outside to plant flowers, and right on cue, the sun broke through the clouds to join us. There’s something special about warm sunshine, and getting your hands in the dirt together. We can’t wait to watch our garden — and our Garden Club — bloom! XOXO 🥰

We had a fantastic visit from John Jackson with Bugs R Us a few days ago! 🐞 Our main lobby was packed with residents and staff, all gathered to enjoy a presentation that was both fun and educational. From fascinating facts to up-close moments, it was an engaging experience that had everyone smiling and learning something new. Thanks for such a memorable visit & we’ll see you next time! 👏
