Meet Our New Intern, Devyn Renninger!

We’re excited to welcome Devyn to Refuge Counseling Center at Ashland Office!

Devyn graduated from Capital University’s Counselor Education Program in May 2026 with a Master of Arts in Education and currently works as a practicing school counselor. She is continuing her education by completing the Clinical Mental Health Counseling track and is joining Refuge as an Intern and Counselor Trainee (CT).

With experience supporting children and adolescents as a school counselor, Devyn is passionate about expanding her work to support people of all ages and backgrounds in their mental health and wellness journeys.

Devyn takes a person-centered approach, meeting each individual where they are with empathy, compassion, and a genuine commitment to creating a space where they feel seen, heard, and valued. She believes in looking at the whole person and working collaboratively with clients to understand their needs, identify meaningful goals, and create a path toward greater well-being.

We’re so happy to have Devyn as part of the Refuge team and look forward to supporting her continued growth as a counselor!
