The majority of clinical trial, especially those that are placebo controlled, allow you to continue your standard of care. It is always good to speak with your care team before enrolling in a clinical trial.

Clinical trials are essential to the healthcare process. No new medications can be developed without undergoing all phases of the clinical trial process. Every medication you take at some point was the focus of a clinical trial. So consider helping out future patients, just like the past patients helped you by participating in a clinical trial today.

We are currently enrolling for an ASCVD study for participants with high cholesterol levels. ASCVD (Atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease) is the leading cause of death globally. This study look to introduce a new medication that will help lower LDL-C levels in people who are still having issues with their cholesterol despite already being on a lipid lowering regimen. Yes a lot of large universities and large research facilities in big cities conduct clinical trials. However, a large portion of the data collected during a clinical trial is collected at smaller local research sites like ours. So if you are interested in participating then please give us a call.

We participate in every type of clinical research. Treatment and prevention are definitely the most popular though. We currently have one C-diff prevention study enrolling for age 65 and older. We also have treatment for high cholesterol enrolling as well. So contact us for info on becoming a volunteer in one of those trials.

Our scarecrow brings together two things that can change a future: imagination and research. Just as books encourage people to dream, ask questions, and discover something new, clinical research begins with ideas that can grow into tomorrow’s medicines.

That’s why our Dolly Parton-Crow is surrounded by flowers, butterflies, and little reminders of the journey from ideas → research → tomorrow. 🌱🦋

We always give participants informed consent before they do anything for the study. All participants are given adequate time to review informed consent. We sit down and explain anything the participant does not understand and we answer all questions before the participant signs the document. Participant safety is always our number one priority in any study we conduct.
