It’s hard to pick a favorite season out here at the farm, but fall is delivering! 🍂🎃🍎 Each week we’ve been able to ride the pony, go fishing, carve pumpkins, pick apples and make c***r, make costumes and Halloween crafts, and so much more.

The important thing is that we do things TOGETHER. There are so many opportunities for the kids to be social at Pivot Point. Group therapy is collaborative, creative, dynamic., and most of all…FUN.

Horseback riding may help children with autism better manage behavioral and emotional challenges, according to new research. 🐎

The study provides strong evidence suggesting that therapeutic horseback riding can help reduce hyperactivity in children with autism and co-occurring psychiatric disorders. Researchers also found benefits from horse-related activities that don't involve riding, including improvements in emotional regulation and social functioning.
