The Gathering Place will be open today from 10am-6pm!! We are making chili for lunch and dress in costume if you like, two witches will be your spooky hosts for the day!!

The Gathering Place will be closed today October 30, due to another two staff illnesses. We regret this for our members but we are a small staff and when four staff are ill, we cannot properly operate our programming. We will plan for our Karaoke and Halloween party at a later time! Stay tuned…

Are you a member or supporter of The Gathering Place that wants to be a part of our 50th Birthday Bash this Friday? It's not too late to reserve your spot! Online ticket sales will be open up to the event start time and tickets will be available at the door!

Community members have been generous and sponsored many tickets for our members! If you are a part of The Gathering Place community and want to come to the event, but cannot due to cost, please give us a call at (740) 594-7337! We want to erase barriers to this historic community event for those that should be there.

**We do NOT require identification to attend the Harm Reduction Clinic.**

The Harm Reduction Clinic will be held at the Health Department, 278 West Union Street. A harm reduction clinic is held every Wednesday, 12:30-3PM. Anyone can pick up Naloxone at the clinic to use if someone they are with experiences an overdose. Naloxone (and training on how to administer it) is also available by appointment at the health department. Call us at 740-592-4431 to make an appointment or for more information.
OhioHealth's Substance Use Navigator will be onsite. Local produce is also available thanks to our partnership with Community Food Initiatives!
