A w**d whacker removes what is visible above the surface. But if the root is still underneath, the same thing grows back.
This can happen in talk therapy, too.
A client may understand their pattern, know where it came from, and genuinely want it to change. But if their body still experiences that response as necessary for safety, the pattern may keep returning.
The root of the issue often lives beneath the story, in the body, the nervous system, and the protective pattern itself.
The Embodiyou Method gives therapists a practical framework for getting closer to that root by supporting nervous system regulation, meeting unmet needs through the body, and resolving the deeper protective patterns that keep clients stuck.
In our free experiential workshop, Somatic Tools for Therapists, we’ll explore practical body-based tools therapists can begin using with clients right away, especially when insight is present but the pattern keeps returning.
