Pure beauty for miles… 🌊

When I look out at sea, I remember how much beauty there is on this earth. The turquoise water, the wide sky, the movement of the waves… something in me softens, and I find a little more room to breathe.

Even as we navigate hard and difficult feelings, beauty can offer us somewhere to rest our attention. A moment of steadiness. A reminder that pain and beauty can exist together, and that what feels dark is only part of the picture.

For me, the ocean helps restore that sense of balance—an invitation back to presence, perspective, and equanimity.

What helps you remember the beauty when things feel dark? 💙

There is a part of me that comes alive when the music starts. Less thinking. More feeling. Moving, listening, playing—and finding connection through rhythm.

This part of my work belongs alongside the reflective space of my therapeutic practice. Both invite us into a deeper relationship with ourselves and with one another.

So many of us have learned to be responsible, capable, and contained. Sometimes we lose touch with the part of ourselves that is spontaneous, expressive, and willing to be seen.

Making room for that part can be tender work. It might begin with a little movement, a laugh, or a moment of letting ourselves enjoy something without needing to do it well.

Joy deserves a place in our lives!

Where do you feel free to be playful? 💛

Beauty Every Day 🌺

I woke up to this burst of red in the morning light.

Pain and loss can fill our field of vision. Then beauty catches our eye and invites us to pause. We can feel what hurts and still let in the color, the warmth, the life around us.

Sometimes that small moment helps us breathe, settle, and find a little more balance within.

What beauty found you today?

In the West, we are often sheltered from loss, change, and death, as though they are separate from life.

As fall arrives, the natural world offers us an opportunity to turn toward these processes. The light changes. Leaves fall. Life makes room for what comes next.

We belong to this process. We are not foreigners to the natural world.

As we orient ourselves to the season and find our place within it, our nervous systems can begin to settle. We can feel the ground beneath us and remember: we belong here, especially as things change. 🍂

A little behind-the-scenes glimpse before 90 people came together in rhythm in Coral Gables—ending in a standing ovation!

There is something extraordinary about the moment before it all begins…when a room full of individual instruments is waiting to become one powerful, shared heartbeat.

Some weeks remind me just how many different worlds rhythm allows me to enter.

Yesterday, we brought an interactive drumming experience to a 90 person global team in Coral Gables—and ended with the entire room on its feet. A standing ovation is always wonderful, but what stays with me most is watching a group move from individual people in a room to one connected, energized community.

Around that experience, my week has also included a full schedule of private clients, preparation and rehearsal for the opening of the Huntsman World Senior Games—where we will engage 2,000 participants—and rehearsals for an upcoming community service.

Corporate teams. Therapeutic work. Community celebrations. Sacred spaces.

On the surface, these may seem like very different worlds. But beneath them all is the same intention: helping people become more present, more connected, and more fully alive.

It has been a very full week—and I am feeling deeply grateful for the work I get to do.
