Dr John Gearhart MD FACS FRCS (Hon)(Ed) recently appointed Professor of Pediatric Urology at MCG has been awarded the St Paul's medal from the British Association of Urological Surgeons. It will be presented in London at the BAUS meeting on June 17. It is awarded to overseas surgeons who have made significant contributions to both the world and British urology. Dr Gearhart's wife Susan is Professor of Colorectal Surgery at MCG and daughter Grace is a summer research fellow in the Department of Surgery at MCG.
