OVDRA was proud to be represented at the 93rd International Conference on Light and Vision, hosted by the College of Syntonic Optometry in Virginia Beach, Virginia.

Board Members Dr. Phil Bugaiski and Dr. Rob Fox attended the meeting, connecting with colleagues, sharing ideas, and supporting the continued advancement of vision care. Opportunities like these strengthen relationships across our profession and help foster collaboration among organizations dedicated to improving patient outcomes.

Thank you, Dr. Bugaiski and Dr. Fox, for representing OVDRA and helping build connections throughout the vision community!

New to Vision Therapy? Searching for answers for a child who is struggling in school despite working hard?

Difficulties with reading, attention, comprehension, handwriting, eye strain, losing place while reading, or inconsistent academic performance may sometimes be connected to underlying visual skills that are often overlooked during routine screenings.

For many families, the frustration comes from knowing their child is intelligent and capable, but still watching school become a daily struggle. Vision problems are not always about seeing clearly at a distance. They can also involve how the eyes work together, track, focus, process information, and support learning.

Vision Therapy is designed to help strengthen and improve these skills through individualized treatment programs guided by trained professionals.

If you are looking for more information, visit OVDRA to explore resources, learn more about Vision Therapy, and use the Locate A Doctor feature to connect with a provider in your area.

Sometimes the right support changes everything.
