Avenue Five Institute is a progressive cosmetology, massage therapy, make-up and esthetics school in Austin, TX. All of our cosmetology students are trained on world renowned cutting techniques. In our esthetics department, students are trained on an advanced, medically-inclined curriculum consisting of today's progressive skin treatment techniques. Many of our treatments are identical to those that you would find at a premium salon, day-spa, or med-spa. The student salon is dedicated to providing high-quality, low-cost beauty and wellness services from Austin's future top professionals. All services use high-quality professional products and are executed by advanced students under the supervision of licensed professionals. Backstage magic for a beautiful cause! 💖✨

We took a quick trip behind the scenes at this year’s BCRC Art Bra show, and let’s just say our students and staff absolutely understood the assignment. From flawless hair and makeup to stunning nails, our team poured so much love into supporting the runway models last weekend. 💇‍♀️💄💅

We’ve been proud partners of the Breast Cancer Resource Center for years, and seeing our recent alumnus’s students and staff’s art bra’s down that runway was the ultimate proud-moment! Best of all? The community showed out and raised vital funds to help those navigating breast cancer.

We are still on a high from an absolutely incredible evening supporting the Breast Cancer Resource Center (BCRC)!

Take a look at this breathtaking art bra designed by one of our recent alumni​, Kimberly Botha. Seeing their creative vision come to life on the big stage was a moment of pure pride for all of us! 🎨✨

Our amazing students and staff were out in full force, rocking the backstage energy to provide stunning hair, makeup, and nails for the event. We’ve proudly supported BCRC for many years, and every year we are more inspired by the community's strength.

Beyond the beautiful designs and runway glamour, the best part of the night was seeing the incredible amount of money raised to support those bravely fighting breast cancer in our community. 💕

Thank you to everyone who poured their heart, soul, and creativity into making this night a massive success. We are already looking forward to next year!
