For the past 5½ years, Christina has served as a Medical Social Worker at Hoffmann Hospice, walking alongside patients and families with compassion, support, and care during some of life’s most difficult moments.

Christina shares that her favorite part of the job is helping patients and families at the end of life and providing comfort when it’s needed most. Her heart for others and dedication to those she serves make a meaningful difference every day.

When she’s not at work, you’ll likely find Christina cheering on her daughter at softball games or enjoying time at the beach with her family. ⚾🌊

🏆💛 Last week, we took some time to celebrate the incredible team behind Hoffmann Hospice and our recent Best of Kern County awards with a well-deserved BBQ.

Being recognized as Best Hospice, Best Non-Profit, Favorite Place to Work, Favorite Non-Profit Event (Voices of Inspiration), and Favorite Grief Support Services is a reflection of the compassionate, dedicated people who serve patients and families every day.

These awards belong to our entire team. Thank you for the heart, professionalism, and commitment you bring to Hoffmann Hospice. We are grateful for each of you.

🪀😄 National Yo-Yo Day was a lot of fun!

This week, Hoffmann Hospice hopped around to several of our partner facilities celebrating with patients and staff by handing out yo-yos and putting everyone’s skills to the test.

Through her own experiences and years of serving others, she offers a thoughtful reminder that healing often happens in the presence of caring people who are willing to walk alongside us.

Please join us in congratulating Jacqueline Roldan, our May Employee of the Month!

As a Registered Nurse on our Admissions team, Jacqueline helps patients and families begin their hospice journey with compassion, dignity, and exceptional care. She has a true hospice heart, giving each patient and family her full attention, dedication, and support during an important season of life.

Those who work alongside Jacqueline describe her as compassionate, kind, hardworking, and deeply patient-centered. Her favorite part of the job is helping patients return home, where the focus can be on comfort, quality of life, and meaningful time with loved ones.

When she's not at work, Jacqueline enjoys reading, spending time with her cats, and traveling with her family whenever she can.

🇺🇸 Hoffmann Hospice was honored to help on Memorial Day with our friends at The Pointe at Summit Hills during their Memorial Day parade.

It was a meaningful day filled with patriotic spirit, community, and gratitude as residents, families, and staff came together to honor the brave men and women who served our country.

We’re grateful for opportunities like these to celebrate and remember together. 💛
