Our Don & Beth Straus Adult Day Program members and BBV residents are so grateful to be back out on the trail with our friends from MDI Wheelers! The aim of the MDI Wheelers is to provide joyful experiences on the Carriage Roads in Acadia National Park for people unable to ride a bike by themselves. Our mission is to serve our community by increasing the accessibility of Acadia National Park Carriage Roads. We are so grateful for this fantastic organization that partners with Birch Bay Retirement Village year after year!

In May, we hosted our “Dip Into Spring” potluck event, organized by our Employee Activities Committee, where staff members shared a diverse array of sweet and savory dips, including taco, crabmeat, cannoli and more! Staff wore tie-dye T-shirts thoughtfully designed by our day program members and residents. Musical entertainment was provided by George Rossi. The afternoon's festivities included lawn games contributing to a sense of joy and team spirit among staff members.
