Carolyn Sandra Byrd, 83, of Bassett, passed away Sunday, April 26, 2026, at Rocky Mount Health and Rehab. She was the wife of the late Gerald Byrd and a longtime educator for Henry County Public Schools. Her daughter, Sandy Weaver, and her husband, Brian, survive. Arrangements are pending at this time.
