We had a great time at the Central Michigan University Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Panel and Mini-Job Fair, where Karlee Schieber, M.A., CCC-SLP, and Amy Lee-Drayer, M.A., BCBA, LBA, and Chief Quality Officer, spoke about interview skills, do’s and don’ts, and tips and tricks for future SLPs.

Our observation rooms feature two-way windows so parents and team members can watch a session without interrupting the child’s routine.

It’s a simple way to help families stay connected, support collaboration, and keep the therapy environment comfortable and focused for each child.

Sleep lost 🌙, appointments rearranged 📅, questions asked 💭, difficult days carried 🤝, small victories celebrated 🌱, and countless hours spent helping a child feel safe, understood, and loved. 🫶

Much of this work happens quietly. But none of it is small. ✨

This Parents’ Day, we recognize the people showing up for the most important work there is. 💙

Every therapy room, our gymnasium, and our Natural Environment Teaching (NET) room feature large picture windows that fill the space with natural light and bring nature into the learning environment.

Last night, our company-wide team training gave us the opportunity to reflect on vulnerability, why we love the work we do, and the importance of asking deeper questions about one another’s lives.

We also heard from guest presenters who shared what ABA and speech therapy can feel like from a parent’s and child’s perspective. They spoke honestly about meaningful moments, fears, challenges, and the trust and care Encompass team members provide to every client and family.

Finally, we put our collective hearts to canvas and shared what Encompass means to each of us. 💙
