The Lending Room, Inc. 501c3 non-profit Accepts and loans Durable Medical Rehab Equipment at a minimum donation of $1.00 per item in the Beaufort, SC area regardless of insurance or income.

The Lending Room is an all-volunteer organization that accepts and lends durable medical rehab equipment to anyone who has a need at a minimum $1.00 donation per item. We gratefully accept donations of hospital beds, wheelchairs, transport chairs, walkers, bedside commodes, shower chairs, canes, knee walkers, etc. to be passed on to those who can use them. We're located at 954 Ribaut Rd., Beaufort

, SC 29902, directly across from Beaufort Memorial Hospital. Turn at the traffic light away from the hospital and immediately turn right into the upper parking lot and walk against the building to the aqua door. Look for the Access Health/ The Lending Room Parking signs. Hours of Operation for medical equipment pickup/ drop-off:
Mon 9:30 am-3:30 pm
Tues 9:30 am-3:30 pm
Wed 9:30 am-3:30 pm
Thurs 9:30 pm-3:30 pm
Fri 9:30 am-3:30 pm
Sat. 9:30 am-3:30 pm

After Hours contact info. In most cases, one of our volunteers will respond within 24 hours during the week with possible delays on the weekends.
