Gravity Physical Therapy is a locally owned and operated outpatient physical therapy clinic. We treat a wide variety of conditions, with our main emphases being Neurological Impairments, Orthopedic and Sports Injuries, and Vestibular and Balance Disorders. We offer the unique opportunity to have access to high quality healthcare on an individual basis. Our mission is to provide quality not quantity. Join us in welcoming the newest member of our Gravity PT family - Mary Hutcherson, DPT!

- Mary holds a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine.
- She previously competed as a Division I athlete in cross-country and track and field at the NCAA level.
- Mary has qualified for the Boston Marathon and is actively involved in marathon events.
- She specializes in the treatment of orthopedic conditions, with a focus on runners and athletes.
- Originally from Colorado, she has recently moved to Beaufort following her marriage.
- Outside of the clinic, she often spends her leisure time on the water with her husband and their yellow lab.

🏃‍♀️💪 30:30 Challenge Complete! 💪🏃‍♂️

Congratulations to the participants from Gravity Physical Therapy/Gravity Hand Therapy who successfully completed our 30:30 Challenge—30 minutes of intentional exercise for the first 30 days of May!

Whether it was walking, strength training, cycling, stretching, swimming, or any other form of purposeful movement, these individuals made a commitment to prioritize their health and well-being every day.

This challenge serves as a great reminder that consistent movement is one of the most powerful tools we have for maintaining health. Regular exercise supports cardiovascular health, improves strength and mobility, enhances mental well-being, reduces the risk of injury, and helps us continue doing the activities we love!!

We had an amazing time at the Beaufort Twilight Run supporting Riverview Charter School!

If you have recently visited Gravity Physical Therapy, it is highly likely that you have encountered the welcoming presence of Anne McKenzie, DPT, who has been a part of our team since November!

☀️Anne grew up in Beaufort, SC where she has resided for her entire life, except for her academic pursuits.
☀️ She attended the College of Charleston, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree, followed by a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the Medical University of South Carolina.
☀️ Her professional interests include vestibular physical therapy, as well as gait, balance, and concussion therapy.
☀️ In her leisure time, she enjoys reading, watching the newest movies at the theater, and painting.
