Healing Haven will be closed June 7 through 14. I am stepping away for the first leg of an ancestral journey that has been quietly calling me for years.

This trip is a beginning, a way of doing the deep soul work of listening to the land and honoring those who came before, as I prepare for a much larger pilgrimage this summer.

I will return on June 15 with a full heart and will be back to holding space for you. Thank you for walking this path alongside me!

Pain can live in families.

It moves quietly.

Generation to generation.

It does not announce itself.

It just shows up in the way you flinch, the way you hide, the way you mask.

In the spaces where softness should have been.
In the things you have to teach yourself that should have been taught to you.

I know that pain.

So this summer I am taking my daughter to the water.

Not to forget...
Not to pretend...
But to wash something away.

Niagara Falls moves 750,000 gallons every second.
I think that is enough.

I want her to stand there beside me and feel what it means to be in the presence of something ancient and relentless and powerfully healing.

I want her to know that healing is not just something her mother helps others with.

It is something her mother fights for, every single day.

For herself.

For her.

For whoever comes after...
Pain can live in families...

But so can healing.
