It's all that candy you "liberated" from plastic pumpkin containers or pillow cases last night. This morning you are blinded by a sugar hangover and having to decide which end of you is going to grace the toilet bowl with its presence.

The positive news to this really uncomfortable situation is that you did this to yourself (as in, no one nefariously forced you) and this, too, shall pass. One way or the other, it will pass.

So take advantage of the artificial change in time and nurse yourself back to regular by sipping tea and pledging that next year you really don't have to finish off the chocolate and caramel concoctions in the Halloween Hand-Out Bowl--knowing full well that you will. 🤷‍♀️

The Tower

First thing to note: no dogs in the Aibo tarot were harmed in the falling of the Tower.

Continuing with our thankfulness theme, lemmee just say this first: some of you are carrying a Santa sack-full of s**t that needs to go. You've had signs and omens, you've had signals and symbols, you've had every warning there could possibly be blown through an instrument the size of a Swiss alphorn--and still you persist.

If there have been consequences that you've dodged or ignored, prepare for the Good Grace of God Period to end rather abruptly and catastrophically. Like, totally. Utterly. And completely.

And thank the heavens for that. Because sometimes it takes a tsunami to wipe the slate clean, to make decisions for you when you can't or won't and don't. Maybe that's what you're hoping for--if so, surrender to it, then. Because you won't have a choice.

You haven't seen yourself for a long time. In the short run, facing the mirror is going to be very, very painful. In the long run, it's going to save your life.

Eight of Pentacles

We're changing out decks a bit early for November today, and this is the *adorbs* Aibo deck--all dogs. I am thankful for my dog--even if I want to sell him to the circus every once in awhile.

And speaking of thankfulness, let's go through all of November's daily readings with a thankful heart. A little twist of positivity, a change in perspective.

The Eight of Pentacles encourages us to follow our passions, keep doing what fulfills us and puts us in an abundant stream of "flow." Be thankful there are SO many things to be passionate about or take an interest in. Looking up at the stars last night I recognized Scorpio and Orion...and thought, "I wish I could identify more constellations." Well, what's stopping me? Absolutely nothing.

And absolutely nothing is stopping you from working hard at having fun and regaining your sense of wonder in this world.
