This is what my dragon looks like when it's just about to temperature. Glaze fire goes to 2230degrees. Ceiling fan going! My studio is lined with cedar. It's a beautiful sauna for 24 hrs till it slowly cools down. Then all you can do is wait. Did things turn out brilliantly? Or did glaze run off the pot? Lots can happen. I try to control every hr with temperature. I have a computer Sentry Controller on my power panel that gives me great control. Cooling fast or cooling slow. Holding temperature at peak for an hr. Ect..everything has a specific outcome. My glazes are made specifically for durability and function..but; I need them to be gorgeous too! I have developed my glazes for over 3 decades! I love glaze chemistry and will forever be the experimental potter. This kiln will be unloaded Thursday afternoon. Stay tuned for results 😉 peace out from Potterita

I finished these 2 little paintings last night. I have been doing massive art projects. Going one to another. Time to finish some and make room for the new. I will be stocking the Gallerita for September sale. Home show coming up. Thinking September 12.

Something about a big ceramic mug that makes coffee soooo much better. I'm painting motifs on my mugs again! I used to paint every single piece back in the 90s. Then I went thru a phase of color combos. Now..I am kinda combining everything. Planning on having a hundred mugs for my late summer show. Going to have a home show. Not sure on the date yet. Stay tuned
