EMS Week is heating up at St. Joe’s. We kicked things off with our annual EMS BBQ, where the emergency room doctors brought more than medical expertise to the table during this year’s cook-off.

We are incredibly thankful for our EMS community and all that you do. As the first line of defense, your skill, dedication, and quick action make a difference long before patients reach our doors. We are beyond grateful to work alongside you every day.

This week, and every week, we celebrate the people who show up first and give their all for our community.

The celebrations at St, Joe’s were nothing short of amazing. Although Nurses Week is at the tail end, the fun and appreciation were still going strong with spirit weeks, sweet treats like ice cream, lots of laughter, and moments shared among an incredible team. It was wonderful to see everyone come together to recognize the dedication, compassion, and hard work that nurses bring each and every day.
To all the nurses at Saint Joseph Hospital, thank you for the care, comfort, and strength you provide to your patients and community. Your commitment does not go unnoticed, and the impact you make reaches far beyond the walls of the hospital. We celebrate you this week, but we are grateful for you every single day.

The Nurses Week celebration continues at St. Joseph Hospital and it has been a week to remember!

From our mural unveiling and spirit days to mocktails, ice cream socials, mobile Jeopardy, and so much more, we’ve loved celebrating the incredible nurses who make this place so special. There were even puppies stopping by for some much needed smiles and stress relief.

Thank you to our amazing nursing team for everything you do each and every day. Your compassion, teamwork, dedication, and heart are what make St. Joseph Hospital truly “Not Your Average Joe.”

Happy Nurses Week to the incredible nurses of St. Joseph Hospital; proof every single day that we are definitely “Not Your Average Joe.”

Whether you’re caring for patients at the bedside, supporting families through difficult moments, taking care of one another, or stepping in wherever you’re needed most, you do it all with skill, compassion, and just the right amount of caffeine.

You are advocates, teammates, problem-solvers, comfort-givers, multitaskers, and miracle-workers all wrapped into one pair of scrubs. You handle long shifts, tough days, endless charting, and call lights like pros ; all while continuing to show up for our patients and each other.

Quite honestly, if health care had superheroes, they’d probably wear badge reels and compression socks (and some fun scrubs!).

Thank you for everything you do to make St. Joseph Hospital anything but average. We are so lucky to have a team as dedicated, compassionate, and extraordinary as you.
