Our new name reflects our commitment to expanding access to exceptional vision care. Appalachian Vision has been providing eye care since the 1920's. We love this area and call it our home. Our mission

Happy 4th of July from Appalachian Vision! 🇺🇸
As you enjoy the fireworks and cookouts tonight, here are a few quick eye safety tips to help keep your family’s vision protected.
• Leave the big fireworks to the professionals and watch from a safe distance (at least 500 feet back from large displays).
• Never let children handle fireworks or sparklers—sparklers can burn at around 2,000 degrees and cause serious eye injuries.
• If you choose to use home fireworks, wear proper safety eyewear instead of regular sunglasses, and keep bystanders back.
• If something hits the eye, do not rub, rinse, or apply pressure—seek emergency care right away.
