Our mission to you:
It is Little Legends mission to provide holistic, non-traditional, and comprehensive occupational therapy services to children ages 0-21 and their families. We want to create a safe therapy environment for children to hone on their strengths and build on their weakness to reach their maximum potential facilitating success in their daily occupations. Little legends Therapy is a

pediatric occupational therapy practice in Billings, MT that opened in January of 2023. We believe in creating a therapy environment where children can feel safe to build the skills, they need to be successful in their daily occupations through play and sensory motor-based interventions. We believe in a β€œbottom-up” approach to therapy by addressing the foundational components and filling in the holes building on them to facilitate motivation, participation, confidence, and success in daily occupations. We provide occupational therapy services to children ages 0-21 with a wide variety of diagnosis inclusive of, but not limited to, ADHD, Dyspraxia, Anxiety, SPD, ODD, ASD, developmental delay, and social skills differences. About us:
Little Legends Therapy was founded in January of 2023 by owner and occupational therapist, Tenika Capouch. Tenika has practiced in Billings since 2018, where she noticed the ever-growing need of therapy for the pediatric population in the Billings community. Throughout her experiences as an occupational therapist, she noticed the influx of mental health diagnosis being referred to therapy. Children and teenagers with differences in self-regulation, behavioral control, sensory processing, etc. Families, caregivers, and various school staff implemented multiple different strategies that were ineffective, leaving them feeling β€œlost” and at the end of their rope. Tenika wanted to create a therapy practice where the approach to therapy was β€œnon-traditional”, helping families, caregivers, school staff, and patients understand their child and themselves through a different lens, restoring hope and guiding them along the way. Meet Our Staff:

✨Bubbles are tiny, magical therapy tools.

Bubble play can support important developmental skills in a fun way:

1. Blowing bubbles – Supports breath control and oral motor awareness
2. Watching bubbles move – Helps visual tracking
3. Popping bubbles – Builds coordination and motor planning

Sometimes the simplest activities bring the biggest smiles.

πŸ’¦ Water play is more than summer funβ€”it can help kids regulate.

Water activities provide calming sensory input while building motor skills. Try these simple ideas:

1. Squeezing sponges – Builds hand strength and gives calming pressure
2. Pouring between cups – Supports coordination and focus
3. Washing toys – Encourages sequencing and purposeful play

Splash time can become skill-building time.

This fan-favorite is a powerhouse of development for your little ones! While playing, toddlers are working on color recognition, hand-eye coordination, sequencing, and emotional regulation.

Learning through play is what we do best at Little Legends Therapy, and this game is proof that the best therapy doesn't always look like therapy. πŸ™Œ

β˜€οΈ Summer days feel easier when kids know what’s coming next.

A simple visual schedule can help reduce stress, support independence, and make home routines smoother. Try this:

1. Show the main parts of the day – Wake up, meals, play, rest, bedtime
2. Let your child check off completed tasks – This builds confidence
3. Use pictures, colors, or drawings – Make it easy and fun to follow

A little structure can bring a lot of calm to summer days.

β˜€οΈπŸ’ First Zoo Session of the Summer: In the Books! πŸ¦’πŸ¦“

What a HOT one it was! While we were soaking up the sunshine, many of the animals were finding creative ways to stay coolβ€”and we were too! πŸ’¦

Our first zoo outing was filled with exploration, learning, movement, and opportunities to practice important social and communication skills in a real-world setting.

Therapy in a different environment offers so many benefits, including: 🌟 Building confidence in new situations 🌟 Practicing social skills naturally with peers and the community 🌟 Improving flexibility and problem-solving skills 🌟 Encouraging communication through shared experiences 🌟 Supporting emotional regulation in real-life settings

These community-based outings help children generalize the skills they work on in therapy to everyday experiences while having fun along the way!

Interested in having your child join one of our summer outings? We'd love to tell you more!

Spots are limited, and we can't wait for more adventures this summer! πŸ¦πŸ˜πŸ’š
