The Birmingham Black Nurses Association Inc. had the honor of celebrating Camp Fletcher's Centennial Celebration on July 25, 2026.

BBNA celebrated the dedication of the Pauline Bray Fletcher Historical Trail and watched the screening of the documentary about Pauline Bray Fletcher.

UABSON Professor and Vice Chair of the Department of Family, Community and Health Systems Loretta T. Lee, alumna Tearsanee Davis and PhD student Sarah Zollner have been named Fellows of the American Academy of Nursing. They join the more than 140 other FAANs affiliated with the School.
