One year ago, I fell 6 feet and fractured my spine.
There were moments I wondered what my body would be capable of again. Moments of frustration, fear, and learning to trust the healing process one step at a time.
Today, I stood on a trail and completed this hike.
It’s easy to celebrate the big milestones, but healing is made of thousands of small victories that no one sees—the hard days, the setbacks, the choice to keep going.
This hike isn’t just about distance. It’s a reminder of how resilient the human spirit and body can be.
A year ago, I was focused on surviving. Today, I’m adventuring again. 💚
