I was born in Utah and spent three years of my childhood living in Germany before my family returned to northern Utah, where I grew up. After high school, I attended Snow College, where I met my best friend and future husband, Joe. After we married, we made Blanding our home and raised our four children here.
When our youngest started school, I returned to college and completed my bachelor’s degree in accounting through Utah State University in Blanding, and more recently completed my MBA. Throughout my career, I’ve been blessed to work with wonderful people and organizations, including Phil Lyman CPA, San Juan School District, and Recapture Metals. Those experiences prepared me well for my role as Controller at Blue Mountain Hospital, where I oversee Finance and Supply Chain. I love the dedicated people at BMH and am especially grateful for my amazing team.
Joe and I recently celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary. We love traveling and spending time with our four children and 13 grandchildren. Jesus Christ is at the center of my life, and I am grateful for the love, faith, and purpose He brings to my family and work.

I grew up in Blanding. I left to serve a mission in Peru and go to college. When I married Mikaila we knew we wanted to come back to Blanding, so when that became an option we jumped on it. We have now been back in Blanding for just over 7 years and we have built a house and spend lots of time building our dream property and life. Pam took a chance on me 7 years ago, and hired me as the accounting assistant. Since then I have graduated from SUU with my Bachelors and am now working on my masters through Eastern University.
