We love recognizing the incredible people who make our home feel like home!

🏆 Resident of the Month – Mr. Harvey
Mr. Harvey has a sweet demeanor and a quiet soul, but his smile is quick to warm your heart. We are so grateful to have him as part of our Prairie View family.

🏆 Employee of the Month – Triniti
Triniti serves as our evening shift Charge Nurse and is truly a shining example of compassionate care. She is proactive, caring, dependable, and always willing to go the extra mile for our residents and team members. It’s no surprise that our residents selected her as this month’s Employee of the Month! We are incredibly thankful for all she does and proud to have her on our team.

We want to provide a quick update to our community and to all our friends and neighbors. 💙

This morning, our team observed smoke within the facility, and out of an abundance of caution, we immediately followed safety protocols and evacuated the building while emergency personnel investigated the situation.

After a thorough assessment, we were given the ALL CLEAR. The source was related to an HVAC unit. The unit was shut down, and our HVAC contractor is evaluating and addressing the issue.

Most importantly — all residents and staff are safe and sound. 🩵

We are incredibly grateful to the Bloomfield Fire Department and all local first responders for their quick response and support this morning. We also want to recognize our amazing staff for remaining calm, compassionate, and focused on resident safety throughout the situation.

We wrapped up Nursing Home Week with the perfect summer kickoff — a BBQ & picnic in the sunshine! ☀️🍔🌭 Of course, the snow cones made another appearance, and things got a little competitive with water balloon tosses & a fun game of water balloon hot potato! 💦🍧

What a beautiful week full of laughter, memories, sweet treats, and time spent together. This week reminded us just how thankful we are for our little home, our incredible staff, and most of all our residents who make each day a little brighter & a whole lot sweeter. ❤️

🌺🌴 ALOHA from Prairie View! 🌴🌺

Today we traded our worries for leis and kicked back on Island Time during our Luau! 🏝️☀️ We limboed our way under the bar, watched our staff battle it out in a hula hoop challenge, tossed some hoops, sipped on delicious piña coladas, and made the BEST banana boats this side of the Pacific! 🍍🥥🍌

Of course, no island celebration would be complete without a little Aloha Bingo… and as always, bingo was a tropical hit! 🎉🌺

Mahalo to everyone who joined us for a day full of good island vibes. We shore-ly had a good time! 🤙

🎪 Step right up, step right up… the carnival rolled right into Prairie View Skilled Nursing today and our halls were FULL of laughs, snacks, and a little bit of harmless chaos! 🤡🍿

We were living the sweet life with deep fried Oreos, popcorn, snow cones, cupcakes, and soda… safe to say the sugar rush was REAL! 🍧🍭🎡

Residents tried their luck at ring toss for soda prizes, bean bag toss for plushies, duck shooting fun, and the crowd favorite… “Whack a Student!” 😂🎯

The kiddos from BMS joined us for the fun, and let’s just say… our residents did NOT hold back with those pool noodles when little heads popped through the board! 🤣

From clowning around to carnival games, today was one for the books under the big top! 🎪❤️

🎶 We got “ALL SHOOK UP” at PV today for PROM! 💙✨

Our ladies & gents got all dolled up for a rockin’ good time, enjoyed sweet treats from the chocolate fountain, and busted a move with Elvis himself! 🕺🎤 The ladies were definitely swooning when Elvis started handing out scarves!

We also crowned our Prom King 👑 & Queen 👑 — congratulations to Mr. Clifford & Ms. Suzie!

From the music to the dancing to the laughter shared between friends, today was full of fun, memories, and a little bit of that classic Elvis magic. Thank you to everyone who helped make the day so special… At Prairie View, we “can’t help falling in love” with moments like these! 💕🎶

We kicked off Nursing Home Week 2026 with a FIESTA!! 🪅🌮🎉

We colored our own maracas 🪇 and created our very own little Mariachi band! Residents had a blast playing pin the tail on the donkey, taking swings at the piñata, and enjoying all the fiesta fun!

Of course we had to have the essentials… chips & salsa, queso, and some delicious margaritas! 🍹💃

Safe to say this fiesta was a HIT and the perfect way to start off a fun-filled Nursing Home Week! ❤️

This afternoon, we celebrated Mother’s Day with angel food cake, fresh strawberries, punch, flowers, and lots of special memories. 💐🍓

Our residents spent the afternoon sharing things their mothers used to say to them — and even some of the things they used to say to their own children! Some memories were heartfelt, some had us all laughing, but each one brought beautiful moments and treasured stories to life.

Mothers are such a blessing, and we are so grateful for the honor to celebrate them today. ❤️
