The World Cup may be over, but I’ve realized a lot of kids and families are still working on finishing their Panini World Cup 2026 albums. ⚽️

So this Saturday, we are opening up NJ Fitness Factory, to host a FREE Kids World Cup Sticker Swap!

Bring your kids, their albums, and any duplicates they’d like to trade.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our local community, I’ll also have hundreds of donated stickers available to help kids get closer to finishing their albums. ❤️

he other day I was sitting at my computer buried in work.

Emails.
Projects.
A million things competing for my attention.

Then a thought popped into my head:

“If you don’t do your workout now... it’s probably not happening today.”

And honestly?

I knew that voice was right.

Not because I wasn’t motivated.

Not because I didn’t care.

But because I’ve lived enough life to know how quickly a day can get away from you.

So instead of negotiating...

Instead of promising myself I’d do it later...

Instead of spending 20 minutes thinking about it...

I simply got up and moved.

And here’s the funny thing:

The workout wasn’t even the biggest win.

The biggest win was listening.

Because every time you listen to that little voice that’s trying to help you...

You reinforce your identity.

You remind yourself:

“My health matters.”
“My body matters.”
“I’m someone who follows through.”

And over time, those little moments become the foundation of consistency.

Not perfect workouts.
Not perfect weeks.

Just small decisions made over and over again.

So the next time that voice tells you to:

➡️ Go for a walk
➡️ Stretch for five minutes
➡️ Get to bed a little earlier
➡️ Prep tomorrow’s lunch
➡️ Get your workout in
Try not to overthink it.

Move before your brain starts negotiating.

Because the goal isn’t perfection.

The goal is keeping the promises you make to yourself.

Most people think this is a balance test.
It’s not.

The Sitting-Rising Test challenges several qualities that become increasingly important as we age:

✅ Strength
✅ Mobility
✅ Balance
✅ Coordination
✅ Confidence moving your body

And the best part?

It takes less than 30 seconds to try.

Here’s how it works:

✅Start standing.
✅Cross your legs and lower yourself all the way to the floor or chair 🪑
✅Then stand back up.
❗️Try not to use your hands, knees, or anything else for support.

Researchers found that people who scored higher on this test tended to have better long-term health outcomes than those who scored lower.

The goal isn’t to get it perfect.

The goal is to identify areas that may need a little more attention.

Because the ability to get down to the floor and back up again isn’t just a fitness skill.
It’s a life skill.

One of the best parts about NJ Fitness Factory has nothing to do with dumbbells or workouts.

It’s this right here. 👇

People connecting outside the gym.
Conversations that don’t happen between sets.
Laughing, hanging out, and getting to know each other beyond fitness.

This past weekend at was a reminder that building a healthier lifestyle isn’t just about exercise.

It’s also about community.

Having people around you who make showing up feel easier.
Who encourage you.
Who help you enjoy the process instead of feeling like you’re doing it alone.

For a lot of adults over 40, that piece is missing.

And honestly?
