I almost walked right past this little flash of orange. 🧡

And then I got down low.

Tiny eye stalks. That incredible textured skin. A brilliant orange body making its way through a miniature forest of grass and lichen.

This is one of my favorite things about spending time outside: the more you notice, the more there is to notice.

Today’s invitation: get a little closer to something you’d normally walk right past.

You might be surprised by what’s waiting there. 🍃

What’s the tiniest thing you’ve noticed outside lately?

Lately, I’m a little obsessed with feathers. 🪶

Finding them. Holding them. Turning them over in my fingers and noticing the tiny patterns I somehow never noticed before.

I arrange them in jars. I move them around my studio. I study their colors. And then, of course, I want to paint them. 🎨

There’s something about a feather that feels like a tiny piece of wild art—delicate, intricate, and completely ordinary until you really stop and look.

Apparently I’m in my feather era. 😂🪶

Please tell me I’m not alone… is there some little piece of nature you’re completely obsessed with right now?

Rain changes the whole sensory landscape. 🌧️🌿

Colors deepen. Leaves glisten. The air cools. That wonderful earthy smell rises from the ground. And the grass becomes cool and soft beneath bare feet.

It’s one of my favorite times to step outside and simply notice.

No hike required. No special equipment. a few barefoot minutes in the yard after the rain — feeling the temperature, the texture of the grass, the damp earth and the air on your skin.

That’s nature connection, too.

And sometimes, the smallest ways of getting outside are the ones that bring us right back to ourselves.

🌱 Tell me: when was the last time you walked barefoot in wet grass?

Apparently, time with your girlfriends is good for more than your soul. 💜

The reel says it best: get together more often, gather more women, live longer.

We can’t promise you extra years at CAMP 😉 — but we can promise a weekend filled with the things that make life feel fuller: connection, laughter, creativity, nature, play and being completely PRESENT with the women around you.

The SUPER monarch butterflies are being born!

The monarchs emerging now are part of the Methuselah generation — unlike summer monarchs that live just a few weeks, these incredible butterflies can live 8–9 months.

And they’re about to do something extraordinary: fly thousands of miles to the mountains of Mexico… to a place they’ve never been using their innate GPS system.

So when you spot a monarch right now, give her a little extra love. You may be looking at a tiny traveler preparing for the journey of a lifetime. 🧡

Nature is WILD.

Last Tuesday nights are for making a little magic. 🌿✨

This week’s Eco Arts Craft Class was such a good one! We got our hands messy creating spider plant kokedamas, welcomed lots of brand-new crafters, caught up with familiar faces, laughed a LOT, and somehow everyone went home with their own perfectly imperfect little green creation. 💚

There’s just something special about gathering around a table and making something with your own two hands — especially in the cozy goodness of Glenwild Garden Center.

And a SUPER BIG thank you to Marybeth Levandoski for nurturing and donating the spider plant babies!!!!

And we’re already dreaming about the next one… 🍄🧚‍♀️✨
