What is a Fera Fruit?

Fera comes from a specific type of palm tree, oleifera x guineensis, a hybrid grown on regenerative organic farms in Colombia.

Conventional "palm oil" comes from a different species (elaeis guineensis) grown in Southeast Asia. Different tree, different fat profile, different growing region, different footprint.

The fat profile is the cleanest way to tell them apart. Conventional palm oil is mostly saturated and solid at room temperature. Fera is primarily monounsaturated and pours like olive or avocado.

What's actually in it?
56% monounsaturated, 32% saturated, 10-13% polyunsaturated fats. Roughly 3-6x less PUFA than canola, soybean, or sunflower.

Expeller-pressed. No hexane, no TBHQ, no BHT, no DMPS, no synthetic anything. In side-by-side oxidation tests, Fera produces fewer aldehydes at fryer temps than peanut oil or avocado oil. Unlike other frying oils, absolutely nothing else is added to the oil.
