Our cruise week has come to a finish and a final stamp placed to mark the end of our adventures! We celebrated with a recap of our countries visited, and enjoyed a musical performance by the Blufftones with plenty of singing and dancing by residents, families and staff!!! Can’t wait for our next big adventure at the Vineyard!!!

So we traveled to Mexico today!! Curtis, Hospice from Crescent was our tour guide today who gave us history about the ceremony of a 15 year old young girl regarding marriage at that age, and foods and drinks that the Mexican Culture enjoyed! Thank you for an amazing presentation for our residents!!!

Day 3 of Vineyard’s cruise week learning about Monaco!!! What crazy fun we had!! Fun fact about Monaco was 1 in every 3 people who live there are millionaires!!! Wow!! But it is a very expensive place to live also!! And the countries revenue comes from tourism and banks…. Beautiful country to visit and of course they have casinos to entertain tourists along with site seeing. Our Residents had fun getting involved in a game of Roulette with “gold” coins to spend!!! We had a few lucky winners at the Blackjack table as well!!! First hand played and our Miss Sheila” won with a natural, hand..21,
Blackjack!!! Way to go! Thank you to Encompass for providing us with wine and fruit. Till tomorrow, it’s anchors away from beautiful Monaco as our next port will be revealed tomorrow!!!

Day 2 of our Cruise week a success! Our first country we visited was Paris, France! A charcuterie board was provided by Agape care group, along with a white and red wine to pair with it, followed up with a tasty tiramisu cake. Once everyone settled in, some residents shared stories of their cruise ship destinations and experiences! Then we moved on to our entertainment, which was a trivia challenge to see who could answer correctly fun facts about France!! We have some pretty sharp residents I must say!! Stay aboard for our next destination as day 3 takes us to another fun country!

Hey we are starting out with a week activity of Cruise week!!! Pictures to follow of our upcoming events! Boarding passes given and pictures of our residents with their cruise ship companion… Duckie!!! More fun on the way tomorrow!!!

We created a new game today with our cardboard boxes and turned them into a ball drop game!!! The concentration on our residents faces while trying to roll the balls through the hole was priceless!!! The eye-hand coordination they showed here was a success as they raced to see who would be the first to finish!!! Way to go!!!
