A few weeks ago I had a Reiki session with my coworker , there's just been so much going on I really wanted to clear my head and energy before going into surgery. After our session and thinking about how she described seeing me I came up with this image. Simple things like this make me feel stronger, clearing all that negative energy and thought really helped this time around. It's not for everyone but we carry so much with us even without knowing it. These sessions will be a normal part of my routine moving forward especially when I am so overwhelmed with the ongoing medical bs. Surgery number 372...or thats how it seems anyway. I've been having a lot of pressure in my back, and what feels like kidney reflux for months now so the Dr. went in a few days ago to see if they could figure out what the issue is. Unfortunately, no luck so we will go over other possibilities in a few weeks during my next appointment. I am feeling pretty good, just very tired. This is all still just the aftermath of not getting proper care in time. If I'd been able to see an Endo specialist in a timely manner, the endometriosis probably wouldn't have spread so far or gotten so out of hand, but here we are...
Still here, and still going💛.

I created this image a few days ago. I was asked to decorate something that represents me and this image came together fairly quickly. I don't often feel very strong, especially physically, but this image says differently. Her head is held high surrounded with healing crystals. She carries her illness right on her shoulders, not ashamed or embarrassed. Her eyes are a reminder that there is light at the end of the tunnel, and she IS strong enough to make it there 🎗💛🎗.
