✨Student Spotlight ✨
Meet Avery Dilley, a 3rd year DPT student at University of Kansas Medical Center completing her clinical rotation at our Lenexa clinic!

Avery’s passion for PT started after a volleyball injury in high school gave her a firsthand look at the impact rehab can have. Since then, her love for anatomy, movement, and helping others has only grown! 💪

During her orthopedic rotation with Preferred PT, Avery has loved taking what she’s learned in the classroom and putting it into practice. One of her biggest takeaways? Adaptability is key. Every patient is different, and learning to meet each person where they are has been an invaluable part of her experience.

Her advice to someone just starting PT school: "PT school is challenging, and it's easy to feel overwhelmed when you're learning so much about so many different things. But keep studying hard, stay curious, and trust the process! It is all worth it when you get to start treating real patients and see the impact you can make, even as a student." 💯

We’ve loved having her on the team and can’t wait to see all she accomplishes! 👏❤️
