This one is for my fellow therapists and social workers - I'm trying something new! We spend so much time trying to hold space for others, and also we are whole humans who bring our experiences and emotions into work with us every day. We have a passion for this work, but it's also HARD work. Personally, sitting through a traditional CE course is the last thing I want to be doing when I could be spending that time outside, resting and recharging.

So, I'm bringing the horses and the CEs together for this equine assisted learning experience (no prior horse experience is required to participate!). This CE course is for the people who learn by doing and want personalized clinical skills they can immediately apply to their work. It's also for the people who would rather be outside with animals.

Come join us for a live 4-day training, August 1st-4th, in Boscawen NH. This course is open to all, but offers 26 CEUs for mental health practitioners through NBCC. I'm so excited to be a part of this!

This Continuing Education opportunity provides existing Mental Health Practitioners with the core skills required to provide Equine Assisted Services alongside their current practice. The course includes practical guidance on how to structure a session, different approaches to undertaking work with horses, and how to keep a safe space for all. This is complemented by topics that inform the practice such as its relevance in the counseling space, clean language, mindfulness and emotional regulation.
