Solomon Eye Physicians & Surgeons was proud to sponsor the MOA Young OD event at Topgolf this weekend!

Turns out a rainy day is the perfect excuse to hit some golf balls, connect with an incredible group of young ODs, and spend time building relationships outside of the clinic.

We loved the energy, the conversations, and the opportunity to support the next generation of optometry in Maryland. Events like this are a great reminder that some of the best collaboration starts by simply getting people together.

Yesterday we said goodbye to our summer intern, McKayla, and we already miss having her around!

This generation catches a lot of heat for their approach to work, but if McKayla is any indication, I think we’re going to be just fine.

She showed up early. Stayed late. Asked great questions. Jumped in to help with anything, no matter how big or small. And most importantly, she came every day ready to learn, contribute, and be part of the team.

It was such a pleasure watching her grow this summer, and I have no doubt she has a very bright future ahead of her.

McKayla, thank you for spending your summer with us. We can’t wait to see what you do next! ❤️
