Is there anything better then being in a total flow state guiding a room full of people to receive the exact same thing you know you need too and to hear at the end of class “it felt like you were speaking straight to me, that was exactly what I needed.” I think not!!!

Thank you to every single person who takes the time to show up to a class, a retreat, and makes the effort to show up and tend to yourself in these ways. These spaces, these moments give me the ultimate hope.

Somehow the healing we find for ourselves is the healing we give to each other too. Namaste!!!

A mystical, magical Witchy Retreat was had by all! A small, intimate group of women gathered this past Saturday in a beautiful yurt sanctuary by the Jefferson River. Surrounded by lots of bird energy - eagles, gaggles of turkey, and so many Sandhills flying in a flock you almost couldn’t believe your eyes.

We did a yoga practice connecting to all the elements to nourish us. Followed by a home-cooked autumn harvest lunch (sage sausage on baby kale and arugula with butternut squash, pepitas, pomegranate, feta and an apple vinegarette aside fresh ciabatta with pumpkin butter and a ginger b**r), prepared by yours truly. I love feeding people. So much!

Then we made out witchy craft - wooden crystal wire wrapped wands! I love sitting in a circle of women crafting with nowhere else to be, nothing else to do but have fun and see where creativity and conversation takes us.

Last was honoring plant medicine and drinking blue lotus tea I brewed up with some other supportive herbs and then going into a guided journey to really renew the spirit and align our paths and energy for the seasons ahead.

It was all pure magic! 🪄 🍂✨🎃

Thank you so much to the women from Missoula, Helena, and Bozeman who all gathered in Whitehall with me. I really needed that day of mysticism, earthiness, gathering, openness, release and connection to my ladies.

Until we meet again!

Late summer has been pretty good to us. Mountain peaks, ghost towns, farmers markets, back to school and weekend visits, all amidst flowers, food & friends. A simple & yet glorious slowing down into fall. Thankful for the practices that open my eyes and heart and allow me to be present and grateful for it all!

Endlessly lucky. For this family, this place, this magic. Not because it’s easy, but because we keep deciding to show up for each other as the best versions of ourselves. I love them so much and feel luckier now than I ever have to experience this type of life, of health, of overcoming challenges, of daily joy.

Thank you Mikaela for always capturing our family so beautifully!

Nowadays I think of meditation as being WITH. I don’t have a hard and fast practice. I don’t chastise myself into practicing everyday. But I do know sitting down and dropping into a formal mediation practice at least a few times a week keeps me sane. Grounded. In touch.

I feel like when I was younger so many of my spiritual practices took me out of my body and to other dimensions.

But with mothering and age comes the wisdom of the body. Now I drop way more IN to find the wisdom I need.

When I was younger, I would really try to get others to understand how truly beneficial this practice can be. And I’m endlessly thankful for the people who told me they could never meditate comfortably until they were guided by me (still imo one of my biggest flexes 💪🏽 🧘🏽 and greatest gifts).

But now I also don’t waste time trying to get people to do what they theoretically know they should. I can invite. I can remind. I can create super nourishing and welcoming practices through my teachings.

But as I’ve learned by having a child who’s getting older, it’s not about what I say but what I do. How I show up. So I sit and practice, to be with myself.

To be with the hard, the uncomfortable. But just as importantly, to be present with the good, the wondrous, the delightful.

It clears the stuck the adrift, and anchors me into immense presence and gratitude.

And more than ever I feel like we need practices that don’t just acknowledge and clear the junk, but help our hearts feel full of hope.

Instead of pushing against, pushing through, may this be a reminder to us all to simple be with. And see what happens when we unfold and allow to simply be.

☀️

(Sneaking in a quick mediation post walk before interning and seeing clients, the sunny patio was too good to pass up, even after a bad night’s sleep, work waiting for me, and my sneakers still on).

Thanks for making this 10 year old’s dreams come true! A Nee Doh fanatic. Walked into school today with a whole swagger thanks to her new beloved trending toys stash 💅🏻

It was perfect timing for me too! I facilitated my first family therapy session this week and I used a small nee doh I had to start the session, asking if teens like them too? And they lit up and went on and on, “who doesn’t like nee dohs????” The perfect therapy fidget friend, and ice breaker of kids of all ages 🫶 glad to have a few more for my office stash now!

Another phenomenal day retreat in the books! Full of lots of endings and new beginnings, moments of big connection, deep relaxation, easy being, expansive views, and magical women!

Thank you so much to everyone who journeyed out (and in) to joined us!

Getting to facilitate this at the Sanctuary Yurt, the heart led space Sean and have created in their ancestral land was perfection in every way. Especially with riverside hot springs down the road. And local organic food to make sure we’re well nourished.

I’m increasingly thankful to the spaces that’s created in these days. It really holds us all so deeply.

Until the next one!

(2 spots open on the 3 day long Summer Solstice Wild Feminine Retreat if you want in!)
