Cooney is settling in well! Jett loves her. She loves Red; she’s leery of Willa who tolerates her. Today we are introducing her to Hoss! Quite the process!

Exciting day! Today we welcome Cooney! Cooney comes to us from a woman who is transitioning out of riding. I am so honored to have been chosen to have her come and live with us. Cooney is a 19 year old Missouri Foxtrotter mare. Last week I officially retired Jett from riding. Yep, I’m feeling pretty sad about that! And Cooney is a seasoned trail horse. I am looking forward to exploring trails with her, seeing if she is interested in being a coach alongside me and to integrating her into the herd. I also scored a new to me horse trailer, and will be retiring a.k.a. selling my old one!

What a week! We supported and taught 44 individuals this week! The YMCA brought out 37 kids and the Helena Indian Alliance brought out three kids, plus 4 individual equine gestalt sessions! It has been a hot hot week! Thank you so much to Cassie Cady and Stacy York for volunteering to help out this week! This afternoon, I am off to participate in the resource fair at the national veterans rodeo event!

Today we hosted four different groups of kiddos for the YMCA camps - 37 kids total! What a fun day and a hot day! The kids had a great time and Jett loved the kids!

For 13 years Jett & Frank have stood beside & supported countless men, women & children as they faced their pain, their old stories with courage and stepped into more freedom, peace & possibilities. Today Frank and I got to support our client by sculpting a nightmare that plagued him. In Gestalt, we take people through a process to step into their dreams. Rather than interpreting and using symbology for the person, they walk away with their personal meaning of the dream or nightmare. It’s a powerful process!

As back-to-school season approaches, we recognize the importance of equipping our youth with the skills to navigate challenges such as bullying. Our upcoming Wisdom Through Horses camp from August 12-14 offers a supportive environment for youth aged 8-17 to build self-esteem and resilience through experiential learning with horses.
