CHEST OR SHOULDER DISCOMFORT… COULD IT START IN YOUR NECK? 👀
A problem around the C4 nerve root can sometimes contribute to pain or altered sensation around the neck, shoulder, and upper chest region.
The reason? Nerves can create symptoms that are felt away from the exact location of the problem.
But here’s the important part ⚠️
Never assume chest pain is “just a nerve.” New, severe, unexplained, or pressure-like chest discomfort—especially with shortness of breath, sweating, nausea, or pain spreading to the arm or jaw—needs urgent medical assessment.
🧠 The location of pain doesn’t always tell you where the problem begins.

Spinal Stenosis (narrowing) can be caused by arthritis and disc herniations…Arm/Leg pain, numbness, tingling can be the most common symptoms. Also severe stiffness can be a sign…there can be relief by specific spinal adjustments or spinal decompression…

Imagine your spine as a hallway with nerves passing through it like people walking down a corridor. With spinal stenosis, the hallway becomes narrower, leaving less room for the nerves. That crowding can cause pain, numbness, tingling, or weakness.

There are a handful of annual checkups we do every year when it comes to our health to PREVENT further complications down the road.

Why not add chiropractic care to the list? A simple fall, twist, or movement could trigger an underlying issue, causing more pain than if you had addressed the problem before it could do more harm—or better yet, prevent it from happening altogether.
