BoPat Farms is a family registered Angus seedstock operation owned by Larry and Betty Lou Patterson. The business started in 1964 as a row crop and livestock operation producing cotton, corn, soybeans, hogs and cattle in a partnership with Betty’s parents. The first registered Angus cattle were purchased in 1967 and the herd has evolved to become the major enterprise of the farm. Bulls were sold p

rivate treaty until the first “Bulls and More” production sale was held in 1996. The sale has grown in quantity and quality as we prepare to host our 21st annual sale. Yearling bulls are produced and developed in a practical way on feeds grown on the farm. Modern technologies such as EPD’s, ultrasound and DNA testing are utilized in sorting the bulls and females. Our three daughters and their families have been vital agents in the sustainability of our farms. We are privileged now to have grandsons that play an important part in our day to day operations. We strive to provide service that makes a satisfied customer. In spite of the hard work we are fulfilled with a sense of gratitude for these outstanding friends and customers and are humbled and blessed by the fact that we can enjoy this way of life because of their continued support.

Pretty familiar face here! 

If you have ever sat in the crowd at a BoPat sale, then you will recognize this gentleman from working ringside! Tucker Kail is a great friend and we couldn’t be prouder to have him apart of our team. Best of luck Tucker!

You ask and we deliver! Many of you asked when we have BoPat shirts available again, so we will begin taking orders today through April 20th. We are also doing a hat order! It will be the hat pictured below but in black instead of gray.
