Latte & Latch is my free group for parents who are looking for support in learning how to nurse in public.

This is a drop-in group, no charge but I ask that you make a purchase from the coffee shop or restaurant. We will rotate between various local shops in the Summit county area.

If you’d like to host or know of a spot we should visit please let me know!

What this group is: a judgement free space for parents looking to get out of the house, a place to practice feeding in public until you get comfortable and confident, a way to connect with other moms and build friendships.

What this group is not: a personal consult, a place for an individual assessment of breastfeeding issues. Sure we will discuss lactation and breastfeeding but if you’re looking for in-depth support please book an appointment.

We will meet at Peninsula Coffee House on Tuesday, October 27 at 1:30p

When I was a new mom I felt pretty isolated until I got comfortable nursing in public. Then I was unstoppable. I’ve nursed babies at ball games, in libraries, at the grocery store, restaurants, picnics and even in a kayak. 😆

I have lots of tips and tricks for covering when you want to and plenty of confidence to share with you if you need it.

You don’t have to have been a client, just a parent who doesn’t want to feel stuck at home and wants tips and tricks for nursing in public.

I’m a mom of four, have nursed babies for 12 years! And I’ve nursed just about everywhere. I’ll be your biggest cheerleader just join me for a coffee or tea next Tuesday at Peninsula Coffee House at 1:30p.

Thursday’s breastfeeding class is for people whose baby is already here and they feel like maybe they should’ve taken a breastfeeding class. 😉

Friday’s class is all about pumping. Bring your insurance approved list of pumps and I’ll help you choose which pump to order. We’ll talk about bottles and storing milk too.

Three Thursdays in June 11, 18, 25
1:00-2:30p
$75 for the series

We’ll cover how milk is made, good latching techniques, things you might be doing that make it harder for yourself, pumps, bottles and pacifiers.

This is not an individual consult and I will not be able to delve into health history or do oral assessments during this class time.

Anyone attending the class series will receive a $20 discount on an in-home consult if it’s needed.

If you’ve ever thought about breastfeeding but heard it can be hard in the hospital, this class is for you.

If you’ve wondered what things are like after baby arrives but before you’re discharged, this class is for you.

If you’ve wondered had a hard time breastfeeding in the hospital before because of low blood sugar or jaundice, this class is for you.
