Due to inclement weather, the Overdose Awareness Candlelight Vigil scheduled tonight is being canceled! We will update everyone if we are able to schedule a possible rain date.

The Vigil is happening tomorrow night, rain or shine (unless it’s severe weather). If it rains, we will be under the pavilion. Bring your own chair, though there is limited seating. Come out and support those who have lost someone to overdose. Please spread the word!

The Cumberland County Board of County Commissioners and the Cumberland County Department of Human Services will hold its 10th Annual Overdose Awareness Candlelight Vigil on Thursday, August 27, 2026 at the Cumberland County Fairgrounds, 3301 Carmel Rd., Millville, NJ 08332. Doors will open at 6:00pm. The Candlelight Vigil is intended to be an opportunity for the community to come together for strength, comfort and encouragement.

If you have lost a loved one to an overdose and you would like to have them commemorated during the event, please fill out our online form at http://www.tinyurl.com/ccvigil2026

Deadline to submit photos is Friday, August 21st! Please reach out to us if you need assistance with this.
