Not every job is glamorous… but every part of it matters. ❤️

Sometimes running a recovery center looks like meetings, community events, smiles, and celebrations. And sometimes it looks like this! Sorting, hauling, collecting, and doing the behind-the-scenes work for 8 1/2 years that most people never see.

But we do it because our community matters.

We do it because someone may need 100 gallons of heating oil to get through the winter.

We do it because someone may need a pair of winter boots to keep their feet warm.

We do it because we want to continue providing free weekly meals to anyone who walks through our doors, and food costs add up.

We do it because sometimes it’s the little things that make the biggest difference in someone’s life.

At Lakes Region Recovery Center, we believe in showing up, rolling up our sleeves, and finding ways to help. Not everything we do makes a pretty picture, but the impact is what matters.

Every donation, every returnable, every helping hand, and every dollar makes a difference.

If you’ve ever wondered where your donations go, they go right back into our community, helping people who need it most.

We may not always do glamorous work, but we do work that matters. And we wouldn’t have it any other way.

🎉 BIG NEWS! WE ARE OFFICIALLY A 501(c)(3) NONPROFIT! 🎉

We are thrilled to share some exciting news with our Lakes Region community! Lakes Region Recovery Center is officially recognized as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization! ❤️💙💚

This is a milestone worth celebrating! For years, we have worked quietly and passionately to support our community, offering hope, connection, meals, resources, peer support, and a place where everyone is welcome.

Our mission has always been about more than recovery from drugs and alcohol. It’s about helping people rebuild their lives, find connection, restore hope, and know they are never alone.

We could not have reached this milestone without the support of our incredible community, donors, volunteers, partners, and everyone who believes in the work we do. Thank you for standing beside us and helping us build brighter tomorrows!

Becoming an official 501(c)(3) nonprofit opens new opportunities for us to grow our mission, strengthen partnerships, and seek additional support to continue serving those who need us most.

We are proud of how far we have come, grateful for everyone who has been part of our journey, and excited for what lies ahead! ❤️
