Four years ago, Josey made the decision to change her life. Today, she is four years sober, a proud mother of two, and committed to building a healthier future for herself and her family. ❤️

When Josey struggled to find a dental provider who accepted her Virginia Medicaid benefits, her search led her to Healing Hands Health. Since becoming a patient in 2023, she has shown incredible dedication to improving her oral health—completing needed restorative treatment, attending regular hygiene visits, and never missing an appointment.

Today, Josey’s healthy smile reflects so much more than good dental health. It represents perseverance, confidence, and the incredible progress she has made in rebuilding her life.

We are honored to be a partner in Josey’s journey and grateful to the Virginia Health Care Foundation for helping us expand access to preventive dental care, education, and ongoing support for individuals in our community who are underserved.

It’s UV Awareness Month, and sunscreen only works well when it is used correctly! Common mistakes like not applying enough, forgetting to reapply, or skipping cloudy days can leave your skin unprotected.

Remember to by seeking shade, wearing protective clothing, and using broad-spectrum, water-resistant sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher.
